It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cooperstown can now relate to. They fell 55-48 to the Moravia Blue Devils on Sunday. The Hawkeyes' loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Cooperstown's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Crisman, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 14 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Miles Nelen, who posted 13 points and five boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cooperstown fell to 24-1. As for Moravia, the win (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Cooperstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moravia, they will face off against Honeoye at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Moravia knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Honeoye likes a good challenge.
