Basketball Recap: Oak Hall Falls to P.K. Yonge in First Game of Season

Oak Hall had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 61-43 to the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Wave from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead P.K. Yonge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Harriott, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Eugene Hall was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Oak Hall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-54 loss against Saint Francis Catholic Academy on the 21st. As for P.K. Yonge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 68-42 defeat against Buchholz on the 20th.
