Athens moved up to 263 from 318 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Oakland - Red. The Red Hawks climbed the ranks as a result of beating Southfield-Lathrup 30-7.

Clarkston extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Oak Park, 41-20. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.

Troy's dynamic duo of Jay Darish and Justin Losey proved tough for Oxford to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Darish threw for 244 yards and Losey had 109 yards receiving. Tommy O'Donovan helped Troy's passing attack out by catching five balls for 77 yards.

Ian Eriksen was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 36 carries, he ran for 296 yards as Clarkston lost to the Wildcats. Chris Calvano also contributed to the rushing game with 47 yards on the ground.

Athens' Jake Nelson and Lucas Bezerra have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Oakland - Red in both passing and receiving yards. Nelson has thrown for 764 yards this season, while Bezerra, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 24 catches for 356 yards. Eriksen from Kurt Richardson's team leads the league in rushing with 1510 yards.
