Softball Recap: Mt. Carmel's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

If Mt. Carmel was riding high fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Paris last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Aces lost 11-1 to the Richland County Tigers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Golden Aces have suffered against the Tigers since March 16, 2019.

Mt. Carmel saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kinley Harris, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Mt. Carmel moved to 7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Richland County, their record is now 5-3.
