Recap: Klein Cain Hurricanes vs. Klein Collins Tigers
There's no place like home for the Klein Cain Hurricanes, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Klein Collins by a score of 66-57 on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Klein Cain's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeremiah Wotten led the charge by scoring 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wotten has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of John Clark, who scored eight points along with 17 rebounds and three steals.
Klein Cain is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. As for Klein Collins, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Klein Cain will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waller has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Klein Collins, they will head out on the road to challenge the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
