Volleyball Recap: Capistrano Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Capistrano Valley Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Montgomery Knights.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-8.

McKenzie Meserve paced Capistrano Valley Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Meserve also shared the team's lead in assists with Megan Keena: they picked up two each. Finally, Hannah Meserve kept Capistrano Valley Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Capistrano Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Bishop Montgomery, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
