Pomona is a perfect 5-0 against Wheat Ridge since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will take on the Farmers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Pomona and five for Wheat Ridge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pomona challenged Evergreen on Tuesday. The Panthers took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Spencer Werner was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Littleton hit Wheat Ridge with a four-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Farmers came up short against the Lions, falling 14-4.

Pomona's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Wheat Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Everything went Pomona's way against Wheat Ridge in their previous meeting on April 8th, as Pomona made off with a 13-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
