St. Andrew typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Islands proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the St. Andrew's Lions 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Sharks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Islands got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 19-25, 25-23, 25-27, 15-11.
Islands pushed their record up to 17-15 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for St. Andrew's, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-2.
