Volleyball Recap: Brandon Bulldogs vs. D'Iberville Warriors
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brandon had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the D'Iberville Warriors 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-17, 25-8.
Avery Power had a dynamite game for Brandon, getting 19 digs and two aces. Power is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.
Brandon's win bumped their record up to 29-7. As for D'Iberville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
Brandon's road trip will continue as they head out to face Gulfport on Thursday. Gulfport will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Brandon surely won't give up without a fight. D'Iberville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
