Jeremiah Alford Goes Supernova in North Rowan Win
 Starting off the list is North Rowan's  Jeremiah Alford, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Alford rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 113 yards  on nine of 15 attempts. Those 100  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.
 The  win was  the fifth in a row for North Rowan, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Alford and North Rowan are taking a road trip to  face off against Lexington  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Salisbury Gets a Boost from Webb in  37-16  Victory
  Hank Webb was instrumental in extending Salisbury's winning streak to seven on Friday. Webb was dynamite, throwing for 274 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a rushing score. He has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  passing touchdowns the last four times he's  played.
 Salisbury's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. Webb and Salisbury will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Rowan at 7:30  p.m.  on November 1st.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Foster Warren Leads East Davidson over South Davidson
 East Davidson was led to victory by  Foster Warren, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Warren wasn't messing around, making 14 total tackles and snagged   an  interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. The  contest was his third straight with six or   more total tackles.
 With the  win, East Davidson broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6. Warren will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant  performance when he faces off against Thomasville on Friday.

Salisbury Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to  Jaylyn Smith
  Jaylyn Smith's big game helped extend Salisbury's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lexington had no answer to  Smith  as he picked up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 On the year,  Smith  has caught  those 2 touchdowns while averaging 29.5 receiving yards per game.

Nicholas Tierney Makes Top Five
 Rounding off our Top Five is  Nicholas Tierney of West Davidson. Tierney made 15 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
 On the year,  Tierney  has averaged 7.4 total tackles per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging three  total tackles per game.
