South Tahoe is 8-1-1 against Wooster since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Colts at 10:00 a.m. South Tahoe is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games.

South Tahoe is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Truckee, who was ranked 19th at the time (South Tahoe was ranked 20th). The Vikings skirted past the Wolverines 1-0. Give South Tahoe's defense some credit: that's the team's seventh straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Lola Castillo, who's now up to 14 this season.

Meanwhile, Wooster lost 7-1 to Dayton on Monday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Wooster were already down 5-0.

South Tahoe's win bumped their record up to 10-3-2. As for Wooster, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-8-2.

South Tahoe took their victory against Wooster when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
