Basketball Game Preview: Valley Forge Patriots vs. Trinity Trojans

The Valley Forge Patriots just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Trinity Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Valley Forge is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Oberlin: they outscored them in every quarter. The Patriots took down the Phoenix 53-38 on Monday.

Trinity not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since February 7, 2025 (when they won 77-50). They put the hurt on Open Door Christian with a sharp 79-53 win.

Valley Forge better keep an eye on Jordan Campbell. He was instrumental in Trinity's win, going 8-for-15 from beyond the arc on his way to 32 points along with eight boards and three steals. The contest was Campbell's third in a row with at least 23 points. Uchenna Njoku was another key player, shooting 59% from the field to rack up 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Trinity smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2025.

Valley Forge's record is now 6-11. As for Trinity, their record now sits at 5-13.

Valley Forge couldn't quite get it done against Trinity in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 as they fell 67-55. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
