Football Recap: Elkhorn Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, Elkhorn was not quite Blair's equal in the second half on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to the Bears. The loss leaves the Antlers still looking for their first win of the season.

Several Antlers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reid Stec, who rushed for 51 yards and one score. Elkhorn also got a significant boost from Wyatt Worlie, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.

Elkhorn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Blair, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Elkhorn will challenge Norris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Antlers will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Blair, they will take on Skutt Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
