Volleyball Game Preview: Christ Chapel Academy vs. Virginia Academy Patriots

Christ Chapel Academy hasn't had much luck against Virginia Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Christ Chapel Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Virginia Academy at 5:00 p.m. Christ Chapel Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Virginia Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Christ Chapel Academy turned things around against Ad Fontes Academy on Friday. They blew past the Falcons 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Christ Chapel Academy was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Virginia Academy came up short against Evergreen Christian two weeks ago and fell 3-1.

Virginia Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Evergreen Christian work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 26-24, 25-8.

Christ Chapel Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Virginia Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Christ Chapel Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Virginia Academy when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can Christ Chapel Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
