Softball Recap: Palestine Takes a Loss

Palestine fell victim to Rusk and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Palestine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Slate, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Palestine's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Rusk, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-7-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rusk beat Palestine by a score of 13-0 on Friday.
