Baseball Recap: L.E.A.D. Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact L.E.A.D. Academy can now relate to. They lost 17-1 to the Rocky Bayou Christian Knights on Monday. The Lions have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

L.E.A.D. Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Silas Brown, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

L.E.A.D. Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

As of now, neither L.E.A.D. Academy nor Rocky Bayou Christian have any future games scheduled.
