Volleyball Recap: Spruce Creek Takes a Loss

Spruce Creek and Creekside squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Spruce Creek had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Knights. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Among those leading the charge was Scott Miller, who had nine digs and three assists. That's the most digs he has posted over his last six matches.

Spruce Creek's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Creekside, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Spruce Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Creekside, they will square off against Tocoi Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Toros will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
