Volleyball Recap: Olivia Mccumber's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calvary Christian Academy over Heritage Academy + How To Watch

If Calvary Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cumberland Valley Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Calvary Christian Academy came up short against the Heritage Academy Eagles on Friday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Heritage Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-12.

Calvary Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Olivia McCumber, who had 12 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Madie Robinette, who had 16 digs and one block.

Calvary Christian Academy's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Heritage Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will head out to face off against Faith Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heritage Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Carroll Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
