Boylan Catholic's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Freeport Pretzels by a score of 13-8. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Pretzels back in April, they had to take a 15-5 loss.

Ari Ousley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and three unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Janae Burke was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Maddy Kiley, who went 2-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Boylan Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Boylan Catholic's record now sits at 8-9. As for Freeport, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
