Football Recap: Forest Park Rangers vs. South Spencer Rebels

If Forest Park was feeling good fresh off their 35-14 takedown of Tecumseh last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers were dealt a 42-14 defeat at the hands of the South Spencer Rebels on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

South Spencer found their leader in sophomore Tre Lance, who rushed for 225 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Lance really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run. Another player making a difference was Tate Schulte, who picked up 173 receiving yards and two scores.

Forest Park now has a losing record of 2-3. As for South Spencer, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
