Baseball Game Preview: Keansburg Titans vs. Asbury Park Bishops

For the second straight game, Keansburg will face off against Asbury Park. The Titans will welcome the Bishops at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Keansburg is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Asbury Park. The Titans put the hurt on the Bishops with a sharp 11-1 victory on Wednesday. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Bishops recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Mikey Clayton made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out 12 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Clayton was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Keansburg got a massive performance out of Shawn Retta, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was James Valle, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
