It was a good run, but Pocatello unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Thunder Ridge Titans. The Thunder were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Pocatello ultimately came up short, they really made Thunder Ridge work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25.

Abby Lusk paced Pocatello's offense, picking up 14 kills. Lusk got some help from Josie Haymore and her 20 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Reese Hone, who had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 12 matchups.

Pocatello's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Thunder Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Pocatello has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Rigby on the 20th. As for Thunder Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Malad on the 20th.
