Bothell and Issaquah are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Cougars will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Bothell sitting on four straight wins and Issaquah on five.

Addison Hall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Hadley Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Berlin Roberts was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Issaquah's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. Everything went their way against Eastmont as they made off with a 15-0 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.
Issaquah also got a great performance from London White (2027) as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Shaelyn Erickson (2027) was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Abby Cleveland (2026), who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Issaquah was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive games.
Bothell's record now sits at 14-3. As for Issaquah, their record is now 11-3.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bothell hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .339. However, it's not like Issaquah struggles in that department as they've averaged .332. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
