Chickasha lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Guthrie, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Fighting Chicks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bluejays a 13-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Chicks, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Chickasha is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Guthrie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-7.

Coincidentally, Chickasha and Guthrie will both be playing Duncan the next time they take the field. The Fighting Chicks will head out to face the Demons at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bluejays will host them at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
