Softball Game Preview: Kalida Wildcats vs. Liberty Center Tigers

The Kalida Wildcats will square off against the Liberty Center Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Kalida has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 19.

Kalida lost 15-3 to Cory-Rawson on Thursday.

Otsego hit Liberty Center with a four-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers came up short against the Knights, falling 8-2.

Macie Krugh made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Zeiter, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Liberty Center's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Kalida, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.
