Marion came tearing into Friday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 64-50. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-39 back in January.

Marion pushed their record up to 24-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Greene County Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season.
