Football Recap: Yamhill-Carlton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Yamhill-Carlton and Valley Catholic meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Tigers fell 35-28 to the Valiants. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Valiants apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Yamhill-Carlton's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Valley Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yamhill-Carlton will square off against Banks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Braves have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Valley Catholic, they will challenge North Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
