Softball Preview: Deuel Cardinals vs. Sisseton Redmen        
        
		
            
 Deuel has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  face off against the Sisseton Redmen at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Deuel will head into Friday's  game having proved themselves against Colman-Egan: Deuel took a 11-run  defeat the last time they faced off against Colman-Egan, but they managed to turn things around  on Friday. Deuel skirted past Colman-Egan  9-7.
  Katrina Hagberg spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned  (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 15 Ks. Those seven  innings set a new season-high mark for her.
 On the hitting side,  Rylynn Streich was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tory Engebretson, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Sisseton scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They had just enough and edged Milbank out  19-18. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Sisseton.
 Deuel pushed their record up to 10-3 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Sisseton, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
 Everything went Deuel's way against Sisseton in their previous matchup  on Tuesday as Deuel made off with  a  15-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Deuel since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
