Basketball Recap: Madison Starts off Right with Win over Elk Point-Jefferson

Madison had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 65-51. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Elk Point-Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will venture away from home to face off against Tri-Valley at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they will head out on the road to challenge Parker at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
