Softball Recap: Addison Comes Up Short

Addison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 7-3 to the Leslie Blackhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 24-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Caylee Campbell made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That run was her first of the season.

Addison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Leslie, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Addison will take on Homer at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Leslie, they will challenge Hanover-Horton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Comets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
