Basketball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Medical Lake Cardinals, falling 59-38. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, with their most recent defeat being a 53-29 loss back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Medical Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jocee Bryant, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Bryant is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabel Barry, who posted 17 points and five rebounds.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Medical Lake, their record is now 7-13.

Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Medical Lake, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-29 loss against Colville on the 20th.
