Basketball Recap: Ethan Edwards Key Part of a Team Effort in Warriors Win

Whiteland lost to Mooresville back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Whiteland Warriors secured a 62-57 W over the Mooresville Pioneers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Whiteland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Edwards led the charge by going 9 of 13 on his way to 24 points and eight rebounds. Gavin Stubbe was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Whiteland was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.
