Recap: New Buffalo Bison vs. Buchanan Bucks

The New Buffalo Bison entered their tilt with the Buchanan Bucks with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. New Buffalo secured a 38-33 W over the Bucks on Tuesday. This was payback for New Buffalo, who suffered a 58-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading New Buffalo to victory were Andres Becerra and Samuel Tripp. Becerra scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Tripp scored eight points along with four steals and two blocks. Becerra is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

New Buffalo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Buchanan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

New Buffalo's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Beavers at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Michigan (Eau Claire is ranked 552nd, while the Bison are ranked 558th). As for Buchanan, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brandywine is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
