Soccer Recap: Kenton Ridge Comes Up Short

Kenton Ridge was the 2-0 winner over Jonathan Alder when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Kenton Ridge have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kenton Ridge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jonathan Alder, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Kenton Ridge will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 6:00 p.m. As for Jonathan Alder, they will venture away from home to face off against Urbana at 5:30 p.m. on September 3. Urbana will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Jonathan Alder surely won't give up without a fight.
