Basketball Game Preview: Elmwood-Murdock Knights vs. Lincoln Christian Crusaders

The Elmwood-Murdock Knights will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Lincoln Christian Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Elmwood-Murdock is leaving town to face Lincoln Christian after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The contest between the Knights and Yutan didn't end well, with the Knights falling 60-42. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Chieftains recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Christian suffered their biggest defeat since January 11th on Thursday. They came up short against Johnson-Brock, falling 59-33.

Elmwood-Murdock came up short against Lincoln Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 60-55. Thankfully for the Knights, Andrew Penrod (who shot 54% from the field on his way to 23 points and six steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
