Soccer Recap: Lanier Gets the Win

Lanier's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They skirted past the Boerne-Champion Chargers 2-1. For the Voks, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 win the Chargers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2020.

Levis Bernardez was the driving force of Lanier's attack as he scored both of Lanier's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Lanier now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Boerne-Champion, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Lanier will head out to face off against Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Boerne-Champion has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Veterans Memorial on the 14th.
