Recap: Maple Heights Mustangs vs. Oberlin The Phoenix
On Wednesday, Maple Heights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 34-32 win over Oberlin.
Maple Heights found their leader in underclassman Brooklyn Dillard, who scored 19 points.
Maple Heights' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Oberlin, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maple Heights will take on Shaw at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Shaw is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Oberlin, they will be playing at home against Black River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
