Basketball Recap: Joppa-Maple Grove Comes Up Short

Joppa-Maple Grove came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Century Centurions 74-39. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Centurions recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Joppa-Maple Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Century, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

Looking ahead, Joppa-Maple Grove will head out to face off against Galatia at 7:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Century, they will welcome Pope County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
