Basketball Recap: Sheldon Comes Up Short

Sheldon blew Bronaugh out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Bronaugh got their revenge. The Panthers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 35-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since December 20, 2024.

Sheldon dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Bronaugh, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Sheldon will take on Weaubleau in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bronaugh, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jefferson Independent Day at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense better be ready for this one: the Cavaliers have averaged an impressive 55.8 points per game this season.
