They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 62-12 victory over Gainesville Christian Community. That 50 points margin sets a new team best for Saint Francis Catholic this season.
Saint Francis Catholic found their leader in underclassman Liam Banks, who scored 18 points along with six steals and five assists. Banks is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominick Diaz, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
The victory was the third in a row for Saint Francis Catholic, bringing their record for this year to 15-5. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.33 points. As for Gainesville Christian Community, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Saint Francis Catholic will head out on the road to challenge Dunnellon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gainesville Christian Community, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hope Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hope Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Gainesville Christian Community in Florida (Hope Christian Academy is ranked 265th, while Gainesville Christian Community is ranked 744th).
