Preview: Ganado Hornets vs. Holbrook Roadrunners

Ganado is 0-6 against Holbrook since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Ganado Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Holbrook Roadrunners at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Even though Many Farms scored an imposing 57 points on Tuesday, Ganado still came out on top. Ganado took their contest against Many Farms 66-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ganado.

Grant Paddock was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Paddock is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Billy, who scored 8 points along with 13 rebounds and 4 steals.

Meanwhile, even though Chinle scored an imposing 57 points on Tuesday, Holbrook still came out on top. Holbrook sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-57 win over Chinle. The win was just what Holbrook needed coming off of a 91-55 loss in their prior game.

Xavier Brown and Tyler Tapaha were among the main playmakers for Holbrook as the former scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals and the latter scored 27 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. The contest was Tapaha's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaron Becenti, who scored 6 points.

Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-1.

Ganado was dealt a bruising 69-34 loss at the hands of Holbrook when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Ganado avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
