Despite their loss, Cornerstone Charter Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Israel Cumbal, who rushed for 60 yards and one TD, was perhaps the best of all. Cumbal got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 54 yards. William Gough also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.

They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-21 win over Harvest Community. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Christ's Church Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Palmer Cowart.

Christ's Church Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-3.

Cornerstone Charter Academy was taken down by Christ's Church Academy 57-13 in their previous meeting back in September of 2018. Thankfully for the Ducks, Cadence Lampp (who rushed for 160 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also caught one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
