Soccer Recap: Pentucket Regional Takes a Loss

Pentucket Regional lost against North Reading on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pentucket Regional took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Reading. While losing is never fun, Pentucket Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while North Reading is ranked ninth).

Pentucket Regional has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for North Reading, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pentucket Regional will welcome Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Reading, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newburyport at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
