Baseball Recap: Port Huron Northern Takes a Loss

If Port Huron Northern was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Rogers City on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marine City Mariners on Saturday. The Huskies were not able to make up for their loss to the Mariners from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Taylor Falls was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Port Huron Northern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Marine City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Port Huron Northern has already played their next match (against Algonac), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Marine City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Rogers City on the 12th.
