Soccer Recap: Prairie Ridge Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Prairie Ridge can now relate to. They fell just short of the Crystal Lake South Gators by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Prairie Ridge have lost by just one goal.

Prairie Ridge is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10-2. As for Crystal Lake South, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-9-1.

Prairie Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crystal Lake South, they will head out on the road to take on Wheaton Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Crystal Lake South's defense better be ready for this one: Wheaton Academy have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season.
