After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Modoc, Lakeview was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 28-7 margin over the St. Mary's Crusaders. That's more bragging rights for the Honkers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got Lakeview back to even at 1-1. As for St. Mary's, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Lakeview will square off against Vale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Honkers surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Mary's, they will challenge Bonanza at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
