Recap: St. Paul Knights vs. Bartlett Indians
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-14, which was the final score in St. Paul's's tilt against Bartlett on Friday.
John Walsh Karam threw for 54 yards on six of 17 attempts. Gabe Huss was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.
St. Paul's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.0 points per game. As for Bartlett, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
After both having extra time off, St. Paul and St. Bernard's Central Catholic will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on November 22nd. St. Bernard's Central Catholic has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since September 9. Bartlett will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southbridge at 10:15 a.m. on November 23rd. Southbridge comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
