Basketball Recap: Franklin Pierce Comes Up Short

Franklin Pierce was the 61-35 winner over Eatonville when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Franklin Pierce Cardinals were outmatched by the Eatonville Cruisers and fell 67-22. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Cruisers are ranked 64th).

Franklin Pierce's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Eatonville, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Franklin Pierce will challenge Steilacoom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Franklin Pierce is facing Steilacoom at the right time seeing as Steilacoom is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Eatonville, they will be playing at home against Fife at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
