Basketball Recap: Armorel Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Armorel Tigers were beaten by the Rivercrest Colts 57-30. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Colts are ranked 95th).

This is the second loss in a row for Armorel and nudges their season record down to 4-11. As for Rivercrest, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Armorel has already played their next contest (against Marked Tree), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rivercrest has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Newport.
