Soccer Game Preview: Osceola vs. St. Petersburg

The Osceola Warriors will take on the St. Petersburg Green Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Osceola earned a 3-1 win over Northeast. Braylin Guadarrama had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, St. Petersburg had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let Pinellas Park onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Green Devils, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

St. Petersburg is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 59 goals over those 11 matches. As for Osceola, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
